(Mardi Gras in El Centro)…The 2 day celebration starts Friday. The El Centro Regional Medical Center Foundation will hold their 5th Annual Mardi Gras and Coronation of the City of El Centro Mardi Gras King and Queen. The event will be held at the Old Eucalyptus Schoolhouse Friday evening. Saturday the 5th Annual Mardi Gras Light Parade and Street Festival will be held in Downtown El Centro. The Parade starts at dusk. The Festival will continue until 10:00 pm.
