(Woman Charged with Cruelty to animals)….The charges are part of a Sheriff’s office investigation.
The case involving the suspected animal cruelty of 4 horses in the Imperial area in early July. The Imperial County District Attorney’s office reviewed the case and approved four felony counts of Animal Cruelty against Imperial resident Carly Ann Bogue. The Sheriff’s office had responded to a call in near Imperial. When Deputies arrived they found three dead horses and a fourth in bad condition. Bogue appeared in Superior Court this week to be arraigned. She entered a plea of Not Guilty. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for September 24th at the Brawley Superior Court.
