(Good chance of rain)…The Weather statement was issued by the National Weather Service.
The statement says remnants of Tropical Storm Blanca. The storm will begin moving into Southeast California Monday night, bringing potential for locally heavy rain to the Desert. The Weather statement says scattered showers and isolated Thunderstorms for this area can be expected Monday night and continue through late Wednesday into early Thursday. The National Weather Service is predicting localized heavy rains and Gusty winds with the strongest thunderstorms. They say the Tropical Storm will dissipate south of the border, with only remnants reaching into the desert southwest
