| An estimated 90 percent of people aged 60 and older are looking to stay at home for as long as possible, according to an AARP study. With so many baby boomers looking to retire locally, many individuals have created Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCS). From home health care to gardening tools, these communities provide a network of services designed to ease daily living for retired individuals. AARP officials say NORCS are beginning to sprout up throughout America and are a way for older individuals to continue living independently. |
