LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers continued in their late bid to provide bullpen depth by reaching agreement with 38-year-old right-hander Rudy Seanez, who pitched for the Dodgers more than a decade ago.

Seanez, who split time last year between Boston and San Diego, signed a Minor League contract that will pay him $700,000 if he makes the club out of Spring Training, with a potential of $500,000 more in performance incentives.

Seanez went 3-3 with a 4.92 ERA last year. He pitched for the Dodgers in 1994-95. Seanez debuted with Cleveland in 1989. In parts of 15 seasons pitching exclusively in relief, he has a 4.21 ERA with 471 strikeouts and 233 walks in 446 2/3 innings.
