| Milwaukee - Brawley California native Rudy Seanex pitched a scoreless 8th inning in the Los Angeles Dodgers season opener. The Dodgers eventually lost their season opener to the Milwaukee Brewers 7-1 Seanez was drafted in the 4th round of the 1986 draft. He made his major league debut at age 20 in September of 1989. His best years in the big leagues included his 2005 campaign with the Padres when he helped them to the National League West title with a 7-1 record in 57 games. During his 15 year major league career Seanez has appeared in 429 games with a 30-23 lifetime record and a 4.21 ERA. Seanez has played for the Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers for the second time, Texas Rangers, Kansas City Royals, Florida Marlins , Atlanta Braves twice, Boston Red Sox twice, the San Diego Padres in 1993, 2001 and again in 2005 and 2006. |
