| The Fourth Annual First Pitch Softball Classic will be hosted by Southwest High School February 23, 2008. According to CIF - San Diego Section Commissioner Dennis Ackerman the Classic begins at 10:00 AM when Guajome Park Academy battles Aurora High School. At 11:30 AM Kearny High School meets the defending Division I Champion Escondido High School. At 1:00 PM San Diego High School plays El Capitan High School. The Brawley Wildcats will meetHelix Charter High School at 2:30 PM. Action continues at 4:00 PM when Hilltop High School meets the Palo Verde High School Yellowjackets. The Classic finale will see the host Southwest Eagles take on last years Division I runner-up Mira Mesa High School. Tickets will be available February 1, 2008 and cost $6.00. |
