| Central defeats Calexico 46-14. Central Union rushed the ball 54 times for 330 yards in Friday night's victory. Ricky Smith had 13 carries for 132 yards and one touchdown. Brock Moore scored 3 times and gained 55 yards on 14 carries. Jaqueem Coleman rushed for 91 yards on 10 attempts and scored a touchdown. Benny Carter ran 9 times for 44 yards and a touchdown. Karl Chick, Stephen Singh, Johnny "Foo Foo" Cesena and Sam Folfe all had rushes from scrimmage. Defensively Calexico was held to 20 rushing yards and 50 yards passing. Next week Calexico plays Palo Verde in Blythe at 7:00. Central has a bye. |
