| CIF - San Diego Section has announced the teams scheduled to participate in the Third Annual Baseball " K " Classic. The season opening " Classic " is scheduled for Saturday February 23, 2008 at Central Union High School in El Centro. Action starts early when La Jolla Country Day School battles the Brawley Wildcats at 8:30 AM. Coronado High School meets The Southwest Eagles at 10:45 AM and at 1:00 PM Fallbrook High School takes on The Palo Verde Yellowjackets. Action continues at 3:15 PM with Castle Park High School and the Calexico Bulldogs taking the diamond. Then Patrick Henry High School takes on powerfull Torrey Pines High School. The : Marquee Match-up pits Division I defending champion Granite Hills High School against the host Central Spartans. Tickets cost $6.00 and go on sale February 1, 2008.More information is available on the CIF - San Diego Section website www.cifsds.org . |
