Vigil scheduled for Garcia office in El Centro

(State Budget protest comes to Imperial Valley)….The California School Employees Association has announced plans to hold a vigil in El Centro. The target of the vigil is the office of Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia. The planned vigil will be held Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Garcia’s South Imperial Avenue office. The C S E A is accusing Garcia of not focusing on a budget solution. They say the Assemblywoman is spending her time attacking people and not the problem. The union says this week’s vigil is to let the Assemblywoman know that the state needs a real, compromise budget solution that funds seniors, the disabled, schools and community. The C S E A is also starting a Radio Ad campaign pushing for a budget solution.
