(One person died in a single vehicle roll-over Sunday)…The incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 78 and Midway Well Road at around 7:30 in the morning. Law Enforcement officials say a Chevy Suburban carrying over 20 passengers apparently blew a tire as it entered the intersection, near Palo Verde. The driver lost control, and the vehicle rolled. The driver was ejected and suffered fatal injuries. Deputy Coroner Tommy Garcia said the deceased has not been identified. It is believed the driver was a coyote transporting illegal immigrants in the vehicle. At least three of the passengers were injured. Two of those were airlifted out of the area with serious injuries. The third was taken to a hospital in Blythe. Officials say three others were taken into custody by Border Patrol Agents, and the rest reportedly scattered into the desert. It is not known if any of those who scattered were injured, or if any of them have been captured by Border Patrol Agents.
