The Brawley Wildcats Softball team has advanced to theSan Diego Section C.I.F. Finals. The Wildcat Ladies beat the number 2 seeded Cathedral Catholic team yesterday 7 - 1. The Wildcats are 20 and 8 on the year and will meet top-seededSantana Saturday afternoon at 12:30 at the Poway Sportsplex in Poway.Meanwhile the Brawley Baseball team has advanced in the Division III playoffs and will meet La Jolla this afternoon inSan Diego at 3:30.The Calexico Bulldogs will play Poway High School this afternoon in Poway.The baseball play-offs use a double elimination format. Both Brawley and Calexico are one and one in the tournament.
