United Way needs a new Executive Director

(The Local United Way has a job opening)……Executive Director for the Local United Way, Sue Campbell, reportedly resigned this week. Campbell was named Executive Director in January following the resignation of Marty Dineley. Campbell’s resignation is reportedly effective July 18. Her reason for resigning is that she cannot continue to work with a Board unable to work as a team with its executive director. Dineley resigned because of what she called the ineffectiveness of the board. Mike Schmidt, United Way Board President, is expected to name a replacement, following a recommendation from the Board’s search committee. It took the Board two months to replace Dineley when she resigned late last year.
