(Everybody had something to say Thursday night)….And they were all politicians. The first political forums of this political season were held Thursday.

The Calexico Chamber of Commerce co-hosted a forum at Rodney Auditorium on the Imperial Valley Campus of San Diego State University. The Division Four Imperial Irrigation District candidates attended, along with the Democratic candidates running for the 80th Assembly District. Daniel Ramirez, a Candidate for the 51st Congressional District was there along with the nine City Council Candidates. The County Supervisor Candidates were all at the Imperial County Sheriff Association Forum. These were the first of what is expected to be many forums, all leading to the June 3 elections.
