(Mexicali woman busted before she gets to the border)…Federal Officials in Mexicali say they stopped a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old resident.

They say Claudia Lizeth Salazar Arroyo was driving to the new Port of Entry East of Calexico. When she was stopped, she reportedly told the agents she was headed to San Bernardino for a vacation. The agents searched the vehicle the woman was driving. They found 26 plastic wrapped packages of cocaine. The cocaine weighed in at 29 kilograms, and officials say it has a street value in the United States of just under $1 million. The young woman was arrested. Her Honda Accord, Cell Phones and the cocaine were seized by the special Federal agents now working along the International Border in Mexico.
