A tractor-trailer rig hauling hay overturned Monday afternoon. The big rig was travelling on Interstate 8 just west of LaBrucherie Road at about 3:40 Monday afternoon when it went out of control and rolled over.No one was injured in the accident though the driver was reported to be briefly trapped in the crushed cab of the truck. The tractor and both trailers were in the center divider. Spilled hay was confined mostly to the highway median but one eastbound lane was blocked for a short time. The accient remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
