(Suspects in police shooting connected to Sinaloa Cartel)…Mexicali police revealed the suspects arrested in the ambush shooting Tuesday. Two Detectives were gunned down at the Palaco State Police office. They were identified as 32-year-old Ismael Rincon Pilar and 26-year-old Alejandro Ocaranza. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Wednesday investigators presented the two suspects in custody for the two murders. They were identified as Ruben Cruz Beltran, also known as El Pony, and Leon Carvajal Miranda. The ages of the suspects were not released. Both were connected to 28-year-old Victor Serrano Galvan, also known as Jose Miranda Armenta Rivas. According to the Mexicali investigators, Galvan is directly connected to the Sinaloa Cartel. It is the same Cartel that allegedly controlled the Narcotics Cells raided in Imperial County early Wednesday morning. It is not known if those involved in the Mexicali shooting have anything to do with Operation Money Train, or the investigation that led to the indictments handed down and raids in Imperial County Wednesday.
