Supervisors resume routine this week

(Supervisors back to work this week)….The County Board of Supervisors took the holiday off last week. According County Ordinance, the Supervisors always take the Tuesday following holiday off. The Board returns this week with several items on their agenda. They will be asked for direction on the Budget Tabulations for the 2008-09 spending plan. The new budget is being put together by out-going Executive Officer Roberta Burns and her successor Ralph Cordova Jr. The Supervisors will also discuss a resolution to establish the “Imperial County Medical Reserve Corps.” The Board convenes at 8:30 Tuesday morning. Public comment at the meeting is scheduled for 10:30. At 10:15 Tuesday morning the Supervisors will Honor Clotilde Perez Gonzalez on Centennial Birthday Celebration.
