Supervisors name new Fire Chief

(Supervisors name new Fire Chief)….The County Board of Supervisors Tuesday named Tony Rouhoutas Jr. as the new County Fire Chief. Rouhoutas will take over the position on August 15. He replaces Chief Fred Nippins, who recently announced his retirement. Earlier this year Nippins promoted Rouhoutas to Assistant Chief. Chief Nippins has said his retirement plans including relaxation and pretty much whatever he wants to do at the time.
