(Supervisors begin process to improve County roads)…The improvements under consideration are; the intersection at Forrester and Cady and Keystone Road from Highway 111 to Austin Road. Tuesday the Board agreed to award a contract to Pacific Mutual Consultants out of San Diego. They conduct the environmental studies for the Forrester Road Turn Lane and intersection improvements at Cady and the Keystone Road improvements. The cost of the contract is $65,700. The projects are considered Federal projects, with 90 % of the funding reimbursable. The County will pay a 10% match. Director of Public Works William Brunet said the funding was contingent on the County adopting a budget in August.
