San Diego, Ca. - Governor Arnold Scwarzenegger will join San Diego County Supervisors Greg Cox and Bill Horn , along with Imperial County Supervisor Gary Wyatt , for a press conference Friday morning at the San Diego County Administrative Office. The Governor and Supervisors will discuss protecting local government and transportation revenues under Propositions 1A and 42 from being borrowed to solve the state budget shortfall. The California State Association of Counties has expressed concern that some legistators are considering borrowing from local governments as a budget solution. The Association is backing the Governors position that now is not the time to borrow additional money to balance the state budget since this would only extend the deficit into the future and hurt local services.. Supervisor Wyatt is the First Vice President of the California State Association of Counties.
