(SDSU/Calexico to screen a movie for free)….The Movie is the latest Documentary by Roger Moore.

Slacker Uprising will be screened at Rodney Auditorium in Calexico on October 28 and 29. Slacker Uprising is reportedly not as controversial as Moore’s previous projects, but is said to be just as thought provoking. Sandra Laveaga, public relations coordinator for the Associated Students at San Diego State University/Imperial Valley, says this film is about making educated decisions about voting, which pertains to the upcoming elections. In order to make the viewing a free event, Moore has waived the copyright viewing fees. The free screening will be from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm on the 28th and from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on the 29th at Rodney Auditorium. Seating will be mostly on a first come first served basis, except for those who reserve a seat at www.bravenewtheaters.com. There are 300 seats available at the Auditorium.
