(A memorial service has been scheduled for Border Patrol Agent Richard Goldstein)….The service will be held Thursday in Indian Wells. A procession of Border Patrol and other Law Enforcement agencies will begin at Palm Springs Airport at 7:30 Thursday morning and proceed to Wiefel’s Funeral Home on Vella Road. From there they will proceed to the Southwest Community Church on Fred Waring drive in Indian Wells. The memorial Service at the church begins at 9:30 that morning. Goldstein had served five years as a Border Patrol agent, all with the El Centro Sector, serving in the Indio Station. He was found dead last Friday in the Coachella Canal. The investigation into his death is continuing.
