Salton City man victom of a drive by shooting

(A Salton City man is shot in the face)….County Sheriff Investigators say the incident occurred at just before noon Wednesday. Officials say 37-year-old Steve Ray Snedeker was on his way to a friend’s house in the 2500 block of Sea Belle Avenue when a vehicle drove up, and a shot rang out. The shot hit the man in the jaw. He was rushed to Pioneers Memorial Hospital and then flown to University Hospital in San Diego. Snedeker was last reported in stable condition. Investigators say drive by shootings in Salton City are rare. The investigation into the random shooting is continuing. Officials say nobody is in custody and they have no suspects at this time.
