(Robbery suspect gets away)….The suspect reportedly committed a double robbery Saturday night. Witnesses say he robbed the Shell Station and the Subway shop on Highway 111. Both are in the same building. After taking what he could at gunpoint, the man fled the scene, Sheriff’s Deputies spotted the suspect vehicle, but officials say he fled into El Centro, and has not been seen since. Lt. De Mars says they only information they have is that the suspect was driving a dark sedan. Witnesses described the suspect as a Hispanic male, about six feet tall, wearing dark clothing, with a bandana across his face. The Lt. Says the case is being turned over to the Departments investigation division.
