(El Centro Post honoring Veterans)…Post Master for the El Centro Post Office says his employees with a lot of help from the American Legion and Vietnam Veterans, have put up a display in the Box Lobby. The American legion has set-up a separate display as well. The displays include pictures donated by Veterans and other artifacts. On Friday, the Post Master, Luis Tenoreo, says a table will be set-up in the Lobby, staffed by an employee, who is also a Vietnam Vet. They will be serving cake and coffee to all Veterans who come by the Post Office. There will also be a limited amount of gifts given out Friday. Tenoreo says there may be some American Flags available for the veterans, as well. He says the coffee and cake will be available while supplies last Friday. The displays will be set-up in the box lobby for two weeks |
