(An Arizona man dies on his quad)….Deputy Coroner Sergeant Charles Lucas says the man has been identified as 60-year-old Bruce Van Valer. He was from Peoria, Arizona. The man and his family were camping over the weekend near Gordon’s Well. Saturday the family went on a ride. At around 1:00 pm the group got back to camp, but noticed the 60-year-old man had not returned. The family and other campers began backtracking the route they had taken. They found Van Valer, still sitting on his quad. He was dead. Lucas said the death might have been a result of natural causes. An autopsy will be conducted Friday to determine exactly how the man expired. |
