(No fatal injury accidents over the Holiday weekend)….The California Highway Patrol went into its Maximum Enforcement at 6:00 pm Thursday. That is the C H P’s Holiday enforcement, in which as many Officers as possible are scheduled to work the State roadways. The Maximum Enforcement period ended at mid-night Sunday. During that period the El Centro Sector Highway Patrol arrested 13 Drunk Drivers. There were 6 D U I arrests in the Winterhaven Sector. There were a couple traffic accidents over the three-day weekend, but none resulted in fatal injuries.
