U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Andrade port of entry nabbed $400,000 worth of narcotics Tuesday morning. A van was referred to secondary inspection at about 7:00 this morning when the primary officer noticed signs of nervousness being displayed by the driver. Intensive examination by a human/narcotic detector dog pointed to the dashboard of the vehicle where 15 wrapped packages of cocaine and 4 packages of methamphetamine were hidden. Value of the drugs was estimated at nearly $400,000.The driver , a 40-year old man from Sonora state was arrested and turned over to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
