More drugs seized in Calexico

(More Marijuana found in Calexico)…..Earlier last week Customs and Border Protection reported seizing over 10,000 of Marijuana. The grass was found in a truck trying to cross the border at the East Port of Entry. Saturday Border Patrol agents found over 7,000 pounds of marijuana in a rental truck. The rental was parked near a truck lot in Calexico. No arrests were made. The Border Patrol says they are continuing to investigate the discovery. Also Saturday, the Border Patrol agents seized a vial of methamphetamine, and arrested four individuals. The four were entering the U.S. from Mexico. The vial reportedly contained only a few grams of meth, but that was enough for agents to seize the vehicle and arrest the four occupants. They were identified only as two U.S. Citizens and two illegal migrants.
