Moderate quake rumbles through the Mexicali and Imperial Valleys

(The Earth moves in Mexicali and Imperial Valleys)…A moderate Earthquake struck at 11:23 this morning in the Guadalupe Victoria Area south of Mexicali. The Magnitude 5.0 event follows a series of quakes reported in that area since Wednesday afternoon. A series of minor to moderate quakes began rattling the Mexicali Valley since 4:19 yesterday afternoon. The have ranged from micro quake, below magnitude 3, to 3.7. 3.-, 3.5 and this morning 5.0. No reports of damage or injury, though there have been a lot of rattled nerves.
