(Missing Santa Paula, California man found in Imperial County)…County Sheriff’s Deputy found 68 year old Harold Hobson Wednesday night at the Niland Slabs. Deputy Coroner Sergeant Charles Lucas says the man was found dead in his trailer. Lucas says it appears the man was dead for about five days when he was found. Hobson’s family had filed a missing persons report when they had not heard from him. They knew the man liked to stay at the Slabs. Deputy’s found his campsite, and found him in his trailer. The Sergeant said the man had cardiac problems and that, combined with the heat and humidity, may have caused his death. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday to determine the exact cause. |
