Minor quake shakes Obsidian Butte PDF Print E-mail

(Southern Salton Sea rocks)…A minor quake hit the Obsidian Butte area at 4:37 Monday morning.

The U.S. Geological survey says the magnitude was 3.0. The epicenter was seven miles west of Niland. The Sheriff’s Department says there were no reports of damage or injury. There were only a few reports of anybody even feeling the temblor.
