The El Centro firefighters Association will present the Third Annual Mike Benavides Softball Tournament this weekend.
The Third Anual Mike Benavidez Softball Tournament will be held May 11th and 12th at Stark Field in El Centro. Up to fifteen teams from the Imperial Valley , Southern California and Baja California will participate. The teams are made up of law enforcement personel and firefighters. Opening ceremonies are scheduled for Friday night and will include a fireworks display. There will be static displays, food booths and live entertainment both days of the tournament. Proceeds from the two day event will benefit the Imperial Valley Service Center of the American Red Cross. |
