(Exchange rate adjusted)….Blaming global economics, Mexico has adjusted the Peso/Dollar exchange rate.

The bank of Mexico says the official exchange rate, adjusted Tuesday, is 12.20 pesos to the dollar. Some exchange houses are trading pesos a different rates, however. The Bank says they expect another adjustment, which will increase the rate to 13.23 pesos to the dollar. Also this week, Mexico increased their fuel prices, once again. The increases were two to five centavos per liter for the various types of fuel. Mexicali officials estimate they are losing over $840 million pesos per year to gas purchases in the United States.
