(Suspect could not have made it any easier for Mexicali police)…Officials with the Mexicali police say the spotted a mini van traveling at a high rate of speed on Rio Sinaloa early Thursday morning.

Not only was the vehicle speeding, it ran several stoplights. Officers stopped the vehicle and when they confronted the driver, they found he was extremely intoxicated. He was wearing a tee shirt with a marijuana leaf on the front, with ‘cannabis’ written across the top. The officers smelled the alcohol and a strong odor of marijuana. They arrested 39-year-old Jesus Antonio Paz Valverde, and placed him in the back of a patrol unit. After searching the mini van, the officers discovered 25 individually wrapped packages of marijuana, weighing 45 kilos. He was taken to jail on charges of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.
