Meth found in Calexico house, children in protective custody

(Women busted, children in protective custody)….Calexico Police raided a home in the 1000 block of Mercado Court last week. In the house officers found individually packaged Baggies containing methamphetamine for sale. They arrested the three women in the house and took their four children into protective custody. While at the house, an apparent customer called asking if he could make a purchase. The officers invited him over. That man was also arrested, and the two-year-old child he left waiting in his vehicle was also taken into protective custody. None of the suspect’s names were released. The children were all placed in the County receiving home.
