(Brawley man is shot in the head)….Police Sergeant Perry Monita said the victims wife called police at just after mid-night this (Friday) morning. Officers responded to the ten hundred block of Calle De Vida. The found the 56 year old white male suffering a gunshot wound, but still alive. The man, who was not identified, was rushed to Pioneers Memorial Hospital, and then Life Flighted to a San Diego area hospital. Monita said the man’s condition is not known. The Sergeant said no determination has been made in the shooting. He said an investigation is underway. He said officers are not even speculating on the shooting at this time.
