(Man found in Brawley backyard identified)…The County Coroners office says the body of 46 year old Leopaldo Fernandez was found Tuesday. He was found sitting in the backyard of a home in the 600 block of South 13^th Street in Brawley. Fernandez was a native of Brawley. Deputy Coroner Eric Frazier says the man did not have a fixed address in the City. Frazier said an autopsy Friday was not conclusive. He said his office is awaiting toxicology results before a cause of death is determined. Fernandez’s dead body was found sitting in a chair at around 4:00 pm August 19. The Homeowner who found him told investigators she had no idea who he was. Frazier said the yard was frequented by transients, with the homeowner’s permission.
