(Four out of five County Supervisors recommend McCain)….Tuesday District Five-Supervisor Wally Leimgruber passed out a Press Release announcing four of the five local Supervisor’s choice for President of the United States was Republican John McCain.

The release says Supervisors Larry Grogan, Joe Maruca, Gary Wyatt and Leimgruber supported the Arizona Senator because of his strong position on strengthening border security, cutting taxes for the middle class and improving the health care system. The Supervisors said they released their endorsement now because they expect the California Primary February 5 to be very close. District one Supervisor Victor Carrillo said he did not agree with the endorsement because he was a registered Democrat. He said he had not decided which candidate he will be supporting. Carrillo said he liked both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, but then again he also liked several of the Democratic candidates who have dropped out of the race.
