Major earthquake drill Thursday

(A Major Drill will be held Thursday)…..The Earthquake drill will begin at 10:00 am. An estimated 5 million people from throughout Southern California will be affected. The drill is part of the Great Southern California Shakeout. A simulation 7.8 magnitude earthquake on the southern end of the San Andreas Fault will be reported. The epicenter will reportedly be in or near the Coachella Valley. Hospitals and Emergency Services groups all around Southern California will kick-in to action. Imperial County Office of Emergency Services and the two local Hospitals are expected to participate in the drill.
