(Signal Lights should be installed at McCabe and 111 by the summer)….Public Works Director William Brunet told the Board of Supervisors Tuesday he expected the installation to be complete by June 2009. The comment came as the Supervisors agreed to request the use of Regional Local Transportation Authority State Highway Reserve Funds for $600,000. The funds will supplement the existing funds to complete the construction for the traffic signals at the intersection of McCabe Road and Highway 111. The signalization is part of the IV Mall Tri-Party required improvement. The design will be to alleviate traffic from Dogwood Road going into the Mall from the south.
