An Orange County man who shot his estranged wife and kidnapped their 9 year-old son may be in Mexico. Lonnie Ramos , 46 , of Portola Hills shot his estranged wife Wednesday when she came to pick up their son Ryan after a custody visit. Ramos then fled with the 9-year-old in a rented 39 foot motorhome. An Amber Alert was issued for the boy Wednesday evening. The motorhome was discovered abandoned Saturday in a parking lot on the United States side of the International border in Andrade, California in the southest corner of Imperial County. Authorities say that the man and the boy were apparently seen crossing into Mexico on foot. Gynnae Ramos is in critical condition in an Orange County hospital after being shot in the face. Mexican authorities have been contacted for assistance in locating Ramos and his son.
