(Imperial Group takes another legal hit)….A Sacramento Superior Court Judge rules against the Imperial Groups latest legal maneuver. In early October the Group filed a suit against past and present Imperial Irrigation District Board members. One of the Directors, Lloyd Allen is long deceased. The suit claimed the Directors had shielded Attorney David Osias from conflict of interest laws in representing the IID on the Quantification Settlement Agreement. The Judge determined the suit was inconsistent with the Judges orders. The Judge had previously barred any further conflict motions from being filed. The action does nothing to the coordinated QSA case, of which the Imperial Group is a part. That case will move forward. |
