Inmate dies at local hospital

(Centennela Prison inmate dies)….The County Coroners Office will conduct an autopsy Tuesday to try to determine the cause of death of the inmate. Nabor Moreno passed away early Sunday morning at El Centro Regional Medical Center. Deputy Coroner Sergeant Charles Lucas says the inmate had been hospitalized for a few weeks, apparently suffering from liver disease. Lucas said it is suspected the disease is what killed the man, but an autopsy is needed to be sure. The Sergeant said Moreno was in his 60’s at the time of his death.
