(Imperial Valley College wants to know what you think)….I.V.C. Staff will be visiting communities all over the County looking for public input. College Interim President Gary Rogers said they did the same thing about four years ago.

Rogers said they embarked on a similar process that resulted in monumental changes to both their instructional programs as well as the facilities. He said it was time to do it again. Rogers says at the conclusion of the process, they will have a comprehensive three-year plan for I V C, as community input and advice that they need for their accreditation process. He said more importantly, they would have a comfort level that they are truly heading in the same direction as their broader community. The process began last Thursday in San Pasqual. The next community meeting will be in Brawley Tuesday evening in the Brawley Union High School Board Room. All of the community events start at 6:30 in the evening. On September 17th they will be in Holtville in the boardroom of Holtville Unified School District on East Sixth Street. A different location will be named periodically on into November.
