Imperial teen dies over the weekend

(Imperial Teen suffers head injuries)….The County Coroners office says the 16 year old died at El Centro Regional Medical Center. Gustavo Alvarez was reportedly riding his ATV Quad in the City of Imperial. He apparently ran the Quad into the rear of a parked vehicle. The teen went to his Imperial home and told his mother what had happened. She called the ambulance, who transported the boy to E C R M C. He was pronounced dead at the facility. The Coroners office says an autopsy is pending to determine the exact cause of death.
