(There is an obstacle to Imperial Irrigation District’s Strategic Plan)….The District held the first of two public workshops on their Strategic Plan Tuesday.

The second workshop will be held July 29 in La Quinta. Tuesday consultant Dolly Mack said the obstacle to the plan was trust. A recent employee survey indicated a lack of trust in all areas of IID management, going all the way up to the Board of Directors. Imperial Irrigation District General Manager Brian Brady acknowledged the obstacle, but said it was one that could be overcome. He said trust issues were an issue at other Districts where he had worked. Mack was hired by Brady as a consultant in developing the strategic plan for the IID.
