(Second Workshop to be held Tuesday)….The Imperial Irrigation District is holding public workshops on their Strategic Planning. The first workshop was held in El Centro. Consultant Dolly Mack has been contracted by the District to facilitate them in putting together the Strategic Plan. Mack will lead the Tuesday workshop in La Quinta, as she did in El Centro. In the first workshop, Mack informed the gathering that rust was an issue at the IID. She said their were trust problems internally, as well as in the general public. General Manager Brian Brady said, however, it was not an issue that could not be over-come. The Tuesday workshop will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in the IID Boardroom in La Quinta.
