(The imperial Irrigation District gets a new interim Energy Department Manager)…General Manager Brian Brady introduced his replacement to the Board Tuesday. Edward Aghjayan began as interim Energy Department Manager Monday. On July 1 of this year Brady had announced a realignment of the Energy Department, naming himself as the interim Department Manager. Brady said Aghjayan would serve approximately 6 months, while a search for a permanent Department Manager is conducted. Brady says Aghjayan is a well-known and highly regarded energy consultant with a proven track record in the public utility industry. He joins a management team that includes financial consultants mike Bell and Greg Broeking, Supply and Trading advisors Dan McCann and Dave Kolk and Belen Valenzuela, who is now serving as interim risk manager. Aghjayan retired as General manager of the Anaheim Public Utility in 2000.
